The gallery has been recently refurbished and fitted out to create a unique space for the display of modern and contemporary art. Its mood is traditional and spacious yet very contemporary in feel. Its special characteristics are enhanced by its superb setting in the Old Town Quarry an area of great natural beauty yet only a ten-minute walk from Weston-super-Mare town centre.
Another particular feature is the depth and height of the space, which is perfect for the display of all forms of two- and three-dimensional art. Q Gallery is managed by Weston Civic Society, a registered charity which offers artists a unique opportunity to hold exhibitions and functions exclusively under their own control.
